This is exactly how my brain talks. Somewhere after that a filter kicks in allowing me to speak!

LOLOLOL  This is a hilarious question!

Yes.  Yes, young person.  Some of us lived through the entire 80s— and even before that!   We’re known as the Ancient Ones.

The Ancient & Wise Ones, even…?

And the 60’s and 70’s too. Respect your elders. You might just learn something.

I was considered a child during the 80’s is that ok?

Here's a yale.edu article about industrial agriculture

krippner:

Interesting article from Yale.edu about industrial agriculture. Just a wee bit critical of Big Ag and its methods.

Yale U. Is in my back yard…. literally. It’s just 5miles away. Their forestry dept is insanely popular. I’ve had the luck to meet some bright young minds from the dept. Very knowledgeable individuals. So to read a concerning article from them means it’s content is dead serious. Not full of hot air.

We’re lucky to have a community-spirited allotment committee who have secured funding for a series of raised beds that will allow disabled or elderly locals to do some gardening and enjoy the social life up at the plots. A few of the plotees have weighed in to put them together, no small thing given the terrible weather.

I so agree. It takes kind hearted non self centered individuals to make some of the kindest acts possible.

Morning Glory…. To me they are like energetic lil kids.  They are like firecrackers and they love to be alive.
These were planted by my niece.  She had never planted seeds before, wait till she sees them!

I look at it every morning.  Its a State Owned lot that stretches about a mile.  I believe they rent it to locals that need it for thier farming buisnesses. Some morning i can tell they laid down some manure.  Everyday i see or smell something new!
